On June 21, fellows from Colectivo de Trabajadoras Sexuales Sarita Colonia visited the area of the brothels of Secada, where they gave educational talks to fellow worker women.

«We started presenting ourselves, and publicizing that there is a reference center and what we do in this place. Also we talk about our rights and that there is a bylaw that favors to regional vulnerable populations», said Silvia Torres Canayo representative of the population of sex worker women. The purpose of these visits is that fellows are aware and know where to go if they are mistreated. «They were surprised at everything being done through the organization and claimed to not know of what we speak, so it seems very important to continue doing those travels,» she concluded.
